Intertwined
“Intertwined” explores the boundaries of PET felt. The material comes in thick and sturdy sheets, which further inspired me to investigate its capacity regarding flexibility. Through laser cutting precise lines, I am able to make modular pieces that can be stretched and bent, playing with space and dimension. The colours reflect the playfulness in working with the shapes and depict the potential of the material. This work aims to inspire people to think of different interpretations and functions the technique could be used for.
